Project Planning Tool™
The Project Planning Tool™ (PPT™) is used to identify all of the project activities and related tasks as well as the resources, duration and dependencies for each task.
The Project Planning Tool™ template is designed to:
- Identify all the activities and related tasks necessary to meet the total scope of the project as defined in the Project Scope Statement.
- Identify the total amount of time required to complete the project.
- Identify the total resources required to complete the project.
- Identify the critical path.
- Provide all of the information required to input into project management software so that the software can easily create the final project plan.
Resource Management by Project
The Resource Management by Project template is used to identify how each resource's time is allocated for each 4-week period of the project.
The Resource Management by Project template is designed to identify:
- All assigned core and extended resources for the project.
- The amount of time each assigned resource will be required to spend per week on a 4-week period of time.
Project Resource Request
The Project Resource Request template is used to record all of the resources required but who are not yet assigned to the project.
The Project Resource Request template is designed to identify:
- Resources that are required but not yet assigned to this project.
- Resources that are required to ensure the scope of the project can be fully and successfully executed.
Milestone Report
The Milestone Report template is used to record the significant events in the project. They represent the completion of a major deliverable and/or a sign-off. They should be considered "show stoppers." If not reached by the pre-determined date, it is likely that the project's integrity will be compromised.
The Milestone Report template is designed to:
- List the significant events in the project.
- List the completion of major deliverables and/or sign-offs.
- Record the dates of each identified milestone.
